│ │
│ Cat.No - not stated on sleeve, but is (I guess) a promo of │
│ MWR155CD │
│ │
│ │
│ Album Info: │
│ "As well as being an established DJ and label head for his own │
│ stamp, Headphoniq, Jordan has built up a reputation as a │
│ prolific artist and producer working under various pseudonyms. │
│ For someone who lists MAW, Grandmaster Flash, NYC Garage and │
│ James Bond amongst his influences, 'Moments In Dub' captures │
│ Jordans' love of different styles. From the experimental beats │
│ of the opening track, the album goes on a journey through warped │
│ hip-hop, deep-house, funk, acid-house, tech-house and many │
│ places in between. As one continuous mix, each track flows │
│ effortlessly into another, creating an exceptional collage of │
│ sounds." │
│ │
│ - from www.remotecontrolrecords.com │
│ │
│ │
│ Release Info: │
│ The above notes talk about the RETAIL of this CD. This Promo CD │
│ differs from the retail in the following ways: │
│ │
│ - not a continuous mix │
│ - tracks in different orders │
│ - as far as I can tell, different tracks │
│ │
│ This CD was not marked as 'Moments in Dub' but thats all it can │
│ be seeing as it the only album Jordan has done for Mo'Wax (there │
│ is a large Mo'Wax logo on the sleeve) │
│ │
│ The odd tracknames are correct as far as the CD goes, its not │
│ just me not being able to count... │
│ │
│ Although people say that this album is a mix of House, Hip Hop │
│ etc... as far as I'm concerned, it's House. │
│ │
│ Soup doesn't normally rip house, but this is Mo'Wax... if they │
│ continue to put out house, then we will stop ripping Mo'Wax ;) │
│ │
│ ... you have to draw the line somewhere, and I think i may have │
│ just crossed it.... │
│ │
│ Enjoy (or at least try to) │
│ │

│ elitist and aggressive attitude of certain groups.
