"Smile Sweet Face" features 10 songs recorded with Chris Fogal at Black in
Bluhm Studios. Most of the tracks feature stripped down arrangements mostly
with Chad on vocals and acoustic guitar. Rick Stef (of Lucero) came in and
recorded Accordion on 3 tracks. The songwriting finds Chad picking up where
tracks like "Tobacco Fields" and "Death of the Life of the Party" left off from
Drag the RiverÆs "You Can't Live This Way". Fans of Chad Price's songwriting
are in for an absolute treat.
