This 7inch contains 2 versions of the song Reformat.
One is a dramatization of the song's lyrics; it is the
story of a submarine captain whose passion for the sea
endangers his crew, a mother and father whose son is
aboard. Les Savy Fav wrote the script and preformed
the various roles with additional help from Chloe
Seymore and Anna Schwebel playing Jonny's mother and
the station engineer, respectively. It was recorded
Fall '99 at The Knights of Columbus Hall. The other
version of Reformat was recorded 3/25/00 in NYC at a
show with Love is Laughter and Enon. ENJOY

gF is about bringing music we like and want others in the scene
to check out. Not more not less. We try to keep our choices of music
off the mainstream path. But as far as genres go you can expect
anything. Our rippers are allowed freedom to share their music
collection. (dont worry you wont be seeing the newest mtv crap
made for TV flavor of the month bands).
Our Hearts go out to the mp3 scene
and we want to be a part of it.. We thrive on each other,
As well we thrive on the people who get our releases,
its all one big group all in all. If you like a band from
downloading a gF rip please try to go out and support
them and buy some merch directly from the bands. As some of our
ripper are in bands or promote shows themselves, they know what it's
like to get the extra help.
. .. thanks..
