The second in a series of Clambakes from Superchunk, this one is
somewhat cumbersomely entitled "Music For Kinugasa's Page of
Madness". It's a live recording of the one and only performance
of music written to accompany this great Japanese silent film.
The band was commissioned by the San Francisco International Film
Festival to compose the score, they wrote the music early 2002,
and performed the music with the film at the Castro Theater in
SF during the festival, April 23rd of 2002. Limited to 2,500.
