▒ ...the crowd cheering in the background. ▒
▓ I own many "live" DJ mix CDs that have ▓
▓ been recorded from real sets at clubs, ▓
▓ but none ever have club noise on the CD. ▓
▓ On this CD, however, Micro has ▓
▓ incorporated the element of yelling and ▓
▓ cheering into the background... and ▓
▓ while it's subtle enough that it doesn't ▓
▓ distract too much from the music, it ▓
▓ hurts what could be one of my favorite ▓
▓ techno CDs. ▓
▓ ▓
▓ Aside from that, the track selection on ▓
▓ this CD is what keeps Micro fans coming ▓
▓ back for more. Micro kicks off the CD ▓
▓ with a great build up in Voodoo Serano's ▓
▓ "Blood is Pumpin"... he gradually works ▓
▓ his way to "(Instru)Mental" on track 3 ▓
▓ which is awesome. I was pleased to hear ▓
▓ "We're Alive" by Paul van Dyk mixed ▓
▓ beautifully in track 4 and then some ▓
▓ Thrillseekers on track 5 makes for a ▓
▓ nice chilled section on the CD. Micro, ▓
▓ like all his CDs, has the usual Transa ▓
▓ remix (which is ALWAYS awesome) on track ▓
▓ 10. He ends the CD with his own "Fall ▓
▓ into me" which may be my favorite track ▓
▓ on the album. ▓
▓ ▓
▓ All in all, this CD is essential for any ▓
▓ DJ Micro fan or anyone who enjoys the ▓
▓ best hard pumping trance that will keep ▓
▓ you dancing. Just be warned of the ▓
▓ cheering. I think it's an element that ▓
▓ could have been done without. 4 stars. ▓
