Ai records is fast setting itself up as another collectable
electronica imprint in much the same vein as Skam and Toytronic,
labels that went largely unnoticed for some time before, well, before
thing went potty! This awesome LP sampler is a crushing crunch-fest,
starting off with the distorted electrosizzle employed by Claro
Intelecto (a la Passarani, D'arcangelo et al), gliding through to a
tweaked, dark 4/4 sci-fi glide courtesy of Crel, and the miraculous
spacious cinematic electronica of 'Nanque & Eiger', while Normal end
us off in drifting style, spacious atmospherics setting the scene
perfectly.
With a limited pressing and spray-painted sleeves, complete with a
whole new bunch of intriguing and new artists, you get the feeling
this a label we'll be hearing a lot more of, by which time you'll be
giving ebay a visit for these slabs of wax
