One For Jude strikes back with their 3rd full length to date. This album is
also a kind of celebration for their 10 years of existence!
Congratulations! I've already heard a few releases from this French band,
but they never really impressed me that much. "Bonheur Dynamique" gives me
a similar feeling. This band is somewhere moving in between wave and the
sweet rock fields, but never really catch my attention. The sugar-like way
of winging starts to bore after a while musical wise it never becomes that
consistent at all. I would personally expect a bit more from a band that is
now busy for 10 years and especially releasing its 3rd album. There's just
one single piece that sounds a bit more credible. I'm here referring to the
kind of piano tune (which sounds quite familiar) of "Une Fois". The lyrics
are sung in English, but most of the songs have been sung in French. I have
to admit that most of the lyrics are quite poetic, which is definitely the
strongest part of this album! Musical wise this sounds not good enough!
