│ Dominik Martin (aka celebrated dnb producer │
│ Calibre) drops his much anticipated downtempo │
│ album, "Shine A Light". After 10 years of │
│ writing D'n'B Dominik has swerved into the │
│ post-club timeframe, flexing his sensitive │
│ singer/songwriter soul with compositions │
│ veering from soft indie to smoky cinematic │
│ paeans and midnight jazz. For fans of his │
│ lushly ornate production style this album │
│ still contains all the deeply scupltured │
│ textures you love, but reworked into │
│ something much more nuanced and │
│ impressionistic. │

│ In his own words: │
│ │
│ "I have spent over 10 years writing music, │
│ the majority of my work being drum and bass, │
│ so i wanted to write an album that wasn't │
│ attached to a particular musical genre, to me │
│ it felt like feeling my way in the dark". │

│ mystery re-ignited; │
│ A different story to tell; │
│ And itÆs as simple as that; │
