▓████▓▌ Transit Cellophane has already been spotted on ▓▌
▓████▓▌ several locations and has passed the test: it ▓▌
▓████▓▌ works....even under most severe conditions! If the ▓▌
▓████▓▌ album is not available in your local record shop, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ sue them or just mention the codeword 'NWRCD 2303' ▓▌
▓████▓▌ and watch what happens... The shops that do keep it ▓▌
▓████▓▌ in store will soon be announced on this website. ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Transit Cellophane is distributed by CNR/Roadrunner ▓▌

▓████▓▌ new label NWR, which stands for New Wisseloord ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Recordings. Nighthawks at the Diner recorded ▓▌
▓████▓▌ between August 2000 and February 2002, so we've had ▓▌
▓████▓▌ enough time to think about it. The working-title ▓▌
▓████▓▌ has been No New Messages for over a year, but as we ▓▌
▓████▓▌ recorded the songs Transit and Cellophane we ▓▌
▓████▓▌ thought of a combination of those words as a better ▓▌
▓████▓▌ title. It is a musical transit and it's definitely ▓▌
▓████▓▌ a transparant album, like a cellophane. And for the ▓▌
▓████▓▌ lyrics: you may find enough in there to spice up ▓▌
▓████▓▌ every obituary, wedding-announcement or poison-pen ▓▌
▓████▓▌ letter. ▓▌
▓████▓▌ It contains 17 tracks - about 57 minutes - with ▓▌
▓████▓▌ guest-appearances by Bert Boeren (trombone), Jarmo ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Hoogendijk (trumpet), Arjanne Kuiper (cello) and, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ mind you, Lee Harvey Oswald. Sound engineer Hessel ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Herder, with a mind of his own, came up with lots ▓▌
▓████▓▌ of coffee-riding ideas, so unavoidably, we have to ▓▌
▓████▓▌ mention him here and now. Hessel can make the ▓▌
▓████▓▌ cessation of noise feel like a tsunami. Only ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Winston L.S. Churchill had that same skill... ▓▌
▓████▓▌ That's enough credits for now... We're glad we were ▓▌
▓████▓▌ able to record Transit Cellophane at the Wisseloord ▓▌
