██▓▓ The VISION Festival ██▓▓
██▓▓ In August 2002 the VISION Festival for ██▓▓
██▓▓ Electronic music was celebrated in ██▓▓
██▓▓ Engelberg, Oberwalden for the tenth time. If ██▓▓
██▓▓ u listen to what people say about the VISION ██▓▓
██▓▓ Festival, u will hear many fantastic, almost ██▓▓
██▓▓ unbelievable things. Their enthusiasm will ██▓▓
██▓▓ struggle to find the right words, but they ██▓▓
██▓▓ will tell you countless little details that ██▓▓
██▓▓ do more to confuse than to enlighten the ██▓▓
██▓▓ uninitiated. However, what u will never hear ██▓▓
██▓▓ is comparisions. For there really is ██▓▓
██▓▓ nothinglike the VISION Festival. One more ██▓▓
██▓▓ can merely conclude, a little helplessly: ██▓▓
██▓▓ the VISION festival is like the VISION ██▓▓
██▓▓ festival. Not a hectic Rave, not a Goa Party ██▓▓
██▓▓ suspended in approximates, not a muesli ██▓▓
██▓▓ festival, not a lifestyle mecca, not an ██▓▓
██▓▓ electronic neo-Woodstock, and certainly not ██▓▓
██▓▓ a stage for designer egos: cowpats and ██▓▓
██▓▓ expensive labels do not go well together. ██▓▓
██▓▓ The VISION festival can best be compared ██▓▓
██▓▓ with a colourfull spaceship in which very ██▓▓
██▓▓ friendly, very peacefull intergalactic ██▓▓
██▓▓ beeings are waiting for the next flight slot ██▓▓
██▓▓ to Venus, and are whiling away the the hours ██▓▓
██▓▓ with music. ██▓▓
██▓▓ ██▓▓
██▓▓ With one exception, the tracks on this CD ██▓▓
██▓▓ have been produced exclusively for this ██▓▓
██▓▓ purpose. It is true, a CD is no substitute ██▓▓
██▓▓ for the VISION Festival. But close ur eyes, ██▓▓
██▓▓ take a couple of mountains to complete the ██▓▓
██▓▓ effect, the stillness of the valley over the ██▓▓
██▓▓ tree line, decorate with curiously ██▓▓
██▓▓ luminescent objects, call ur friends over. ██▓▓
██▓▓ Now watch the stars. They hope in space, ██▓▓
██▓▓ they dance. And if u listen carefully, u can ██▓▓
██▓▓ hear their beat, in the middle of ur heart. ██▓▓
