▐███▄▄ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ A student of classical and jazz guitar since the age ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ of 12, Alek is also a versatile drummer and has ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ performed as the lead guitarist for the successful ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ indie groove-core band Kill by Inches. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Journeying into electronic music in 1993, he has ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ DJ-ed at venues throughout New York and in the last 4 ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ years produced over 90 tracks, including releases on ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Bush Records, Kazumi, Gotham Grooves and the German ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ imprint Bazooka10. His involvement in the music scene ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ also includes co-founding the UNION series of Loft ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ parties in NYC, as well as the SHIPWRECKED boat ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ parties. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Having experimented with a wide range of genres, from ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Techno to House to IDM, Alek's sound is a merger of ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ musical styles. He likes to describe it as "the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ percussive drive of Tribal Techno and Techno-House ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ with the experimental elements of IDM." Whether he's ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ DJ-ing or producing in his studio, his long music ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ history gives him the wide perspective necessary to ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ blend diverse styles successfully, while maintaining ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ a strong Techno edge. ░██▌▄▀
