Release Notes:
Pretty snappy 60s soul/rock 'n' roll rip ups and homages abound in
this, the lead single from the sophomore album from Brit
singer/songwriter Plan B. The record, entitled The Defamation Of
Strickland Banks, was produced once again by Paul Epworth (Friendly
Fires, Jack Pe±ate, Florence And The Machine, Kate Nash) and even
though in this track we think the quick breaks where there is angular
guitars and whipping drums underneath a completely throwaway rap leave
us ill at ease, the disc as a whole should make for an interesting
addition to your 2009 catalog of albums. Honestly the guy's got a
serious voice to him and it's just got to up there in the mix, front
and center. That's an order.
