   :  Tom, Richard and Tim grew up in Battle, East Sussex and  :
   :  still live and rehearse there.                           :

   :  They've been friends since they were very young,         :
   :  growing up together and going to the same school.        :
   :  (Richard:"I first remember talking to Tim at about the   :
   :  age of 11. We spent lots of time listening to the Pet    :
   :  Shop Boys on his Boots stereo (the very best), so we go  :
   :  way back. I met Tom in the summer holidays when we all   :
   :  played footy and cricket round at Tim 's house. Tim      :
   :  used to entertain us with his renditions of 'Airwolf'    :

   :  They've been playing music together for years, starting  :
   :  off playing Beatles and Paul Simon songs and then        :
   :  writing their own. They formed a band and eventually     :
   :  arrived at the Keane sound, which is focused on the      :
   :  drums, piano and voice.                                  :

   :  These days they rehearse at home in Sussex, where they   :
   :  recorded their debut single Everybody's Changing in      :
   :  early 2003.                                              :
