Jerome Robins
After living in the UK for the past 8 years, Jerome
returned to Toronto to become one of the principle
owners of Release Records. In it's short existance,
Release Records has firmly planted itself as one of the
world's elite, progressive record shops. Outside of
Jerome's responsibilities at the shop, Jerome also
records alongside Adam & Perfecto's Mach 747 as Oxygen
as well as finding the time to DJ across North America.
Adam Nathan
Originally from London, UK, Adam resides in Toronto
where he is one of the principal owners of Release
Records. In the studio, Adam works alongside Jerome
Robins and Perfecto's Mach 747 producing as Oxygen & can
be found DJing around North America on a regular basis.
Norman H
Norman H is dj,producer,label manager and A&R for
Southend-On-Sea based label Coldtap Recordings
sixties in his native West London,his dj'ing has been
sporadic since his first assault on the deck back
1983,highlights being a European Tour in 1991 with Indie
Dance giants Jesus Jones,which culminated with a gig at
London's Brixton Academy with Blur. Norman left the big
smoke in 1993 and moved to Essex seaside capital
Southend-On-Sea and began working in independant dance
music store Vinyl Rhythm Records in February 1994,and is
still there today.
Residencies and frequent gigs around the region raised
his profile in an area which on a club front wasn't and
still isn't very forward thinking in it's clubbing music
policies.He played several gigs as a warm up for
Renaissance tour nights in Essex alongside the likes of
Danny Howells,Anthony Pappa,Ian Ossia,Parks &
Wilson,John Graham,John Pleased,Andry Nalin,and Nigel
Dawson.
In 1999 he set up his own night STRIPPED playing the
music he loves quality global house and breaks with a
progressive twist which has put on parties in
Southend,Clacton,Brighton,and London's Ministry Of
Sound. October 2000 saw the launch of Coldtap Recordings
the brainchild of Norman H and store manager Adam
Carter."We knew that we had talented producers on our
doorstep and because of the general lack of vision in
our area we wanted to give these guys a stage to shine
on".This indeed has worked with the forthcoming 7th
release from Liquid Audio,the label has recieved praise
from all their peers with names such as John
Digweed,Deep Dish,Satoshi Tomiie,Steve Lawler,Hernan
Catteneo,Lee Burridge,Sander Klienenberg,Chris
Fortier,John Creamer,Phil Thompson (Moonface),Desyn
Masiello,Cass,Slam,Saeed & Palash,Moshic,Nick
Warren,Sandra Collins plus a whole lot more.
