Emilie "Mimie" Nana was born in Lyon (France), in 1984. She began
her musical career at the age of seventeen in her bedroom with
vintage synths and a vocoder. Recently she remixed Zurich's
Kalabrese under the name of "Ludron" a collaboration with
Crowdpleaser, which then was charted in the top 20 on sales charts
in German Groove magazine. Since then she's locked herself up in
her studio and produced a great load of new tracks. Her stage
career developed over the last two years with some groovy techno
soul live acts in Berlin (Golden Gate, Magic Sunday) Bern (Klub
Elf) Lausanne (La Ruche) and of course in Geneva (Jack's House,
Paresseux etc..). Put your sunglasses on, this light will be very
bright! In a deep rooted approach, the meeting of Gospel, Vicious
Pop & House join in a ceremony of unlikely sounds & notes. Under a
provocatively denouncing name, "I Missed The Boat" the first solo
release of the artist on Compost Records will transform and
hypnotize your minds.
