Considering the musical journey that Brian Hughes has
been on since becoming one of contemporary jazz's most
popular guitarists, it's beautifully appropriate that he
titled his long anticipated A440 Music Group debut Along
the Way. Showcasing his most exciting melodies and
guitar performances to date, the collection reflects on
his cross country move from Toronto to Los Angeles and
features guest performances from contemporary jazz
stars, saxophonist Eric Marienthal and trumpet sensation
Chris Botti.
"There is definitely a travel theme to Along The Way",
says Hughes, "inspired partly by my move to Southern
California and also by my extensive touring with
(multi-platinum selling vocalist/recording artist)
Loreena McKennitt " (a 16 year relationship of recording
and performing that continues to this day). "In a way
the new CD is a kind of loosely knit collection of
musical postcards from my travels and the title serves
as a metaphor for my musical journey."

aAF was created in Jan 2001 to fill a void left in the scene
by groups who would refuse to release anything but current
year music.Well since that time we have been rocking the
scene with classic rock rips.We have made classic music
mainstream in the scene and have been on top in that area as
the number one group in classic rips. We finished 2001 with
3800 rips.As we moved forward in 2002 we found we were also
releasing alot of quality 2k2 rips and saw that we were competing
in that area.In 2002 we finished with over 5000 rips.In 2003 we
plan to move forward and continue to release "THE NEW STUFF" and
strive to be on top in 2k3 rips.We will also continue to remain
on top like we have for 2 years in the classic rock scene.
