Release Notes: ░██▓
██▒
The Cookin' Series was born in 1992 on a corner of San ██░
Franciscos Union Square when a DJ met a street musician in ██
the presence of two people who ran a record label. The first ██
title in the series, released in 1993, was aptly named Home ██
Cookin'. In much the same way that your mama cooks your ██
breakfast back home--the eggs, bacon and hash browns all in ██
the same skillet so that the flavors mingle and improve each ██
other--these songs combine the beats and techniques of DJs ██
and producers with the soul, instrumentation and ██
improvisation of jazz in synergistic concoctions that laid ██
the groundwork for the original acid jazz sound. ██
██
enjoy your mang0, pimp ██
