Utterly essential classics from the Groove Chronicles archives!!!
A+R head and longtime garage lynchpin Noodles has plucked out some
pure gold with a further three mixes of 'Walk On By', following the
reissue of Steve Gurley's original mix late last year. The Foul Pay
legend revisits the track here with a sublime V.I.P mix, craftily
suspending that vocal motif in a reworked riddim carved from
ultra-clear woodblocks and swooping subliminal subs ensconced in
some sort of 2-step dream state. On the flip, new blood CJ Reign
reshapes the track with a taut 2Step remix, while DJ Ski spins the
track onto a wicked old-skool garage axis with his 'Undertone Deep
Funky remix', packed with Todd Edwards or Armand Van Helden vibes.
