     Deep Detroit cat Andres follows up his 2003 self titled debut album
     (Andres--Andres-CD-2003-dh) with another set of lowlit house
     luxuriance for Moodymann's Mahogani Music. We can't really call to
     mind that many Detroit producers who dabble in both hip-hop, soul
     and house music on the same album but Andres is more adept than most
     with a slew of dope slow beats under his DJ Dez alias. He mixes the
     disciplines with style on 'II', switching gracefully from a down-slow
     jam on 'That What It Is' up to joyfully uptempo house on 'Learn To
     Love' featuring Monica Blaire, and back into low-slung mode on the
     dub influenced 'Walk On Through'. KDJ makes an appearance on 'Sing
     About It' while crew member DJ Minx turns up on 'Wish You Were Here'.
