R.P.M. hadn't done anything for a long time and their sound has
really changed. "2000" is a lot more "abstract", with some bell
like sounds and some hackneyed moon samples (well, hackneyed in the
ambient world at least). But after a while it really gets going
and they work some tricks with the beats which are just amazing,
this is probably one of the ones that can really get me going. The
track with Menelik on it isn't as good, but it's pretty much
centered around Menelik and his smooth style. "uh uh uh yeah..."
