RELNOTES..:
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on the 4th of July 1986, Alistair Gillespie moved around from a young age. Living in different countries such as
Mexico, Argentina and Brazil gave him the possibility to experience different cultures and become interested in different types of music, until
finally discovering electronic dance music at the age of 14.
In 2003 he decides to immerse himself in the EDM scene playing at bars and underground parties in Buenos Aires,Argentina. Alistair prefers to
define the music he plays as simply house music, as a blend of deep, tech, and progressive house is found in his sets. In 2004 he started his own
show at Underground Sounds Radio along with Guillermo Casasnovas aka William and was also invited as a guest dj for the well known online radio
station Dance Latino America www.dancelatinoamerica.com.
Throughout his career, Alistair has played at well known clubs in Buenos Aires such as Crobar, Mint, Bahrein, Rumi, Jackos, The Whiteroom and Jet
Lounge, sharing the booth with DJs such as, Jimmy Van M, Shmuel Ram, Zuker, Fabian Dellamonica, Martin Lamelas and Damian Reds to name a few.
2008 was an important year as he held a weekly residency at Crobar Buenos Aires and was booked for gigs in Colombia, Bogota; Paraguay, Asuncion
and Cordoba, Argentina. Currently, Alistair is also working as A and R for one of Proton Radio's sister labels, "Elefant".
