          █  Not since Nirvana has a band from Seattle ticked my    █
          █  fancy like Intelligence. This kid Lars Finberg is      █
          █  unstoppable and responsible for some of the best       █
          █  music blasting out of the underground. He's a          █
          █  massive, pulsating, purple, brain squirting out bands  █
          █  like it was as easy as making a baby. Lars structures  █
          █  the A-Frames post-apocalyptic pop world where we all   █
          █  learned to dance on the heads of nuked, mutilated      █
          █  bodies. Then there's the Dipers, where he throws down  █
          █  that low-fi noisy rumble of burning trash and car      █
          █  wreck rock wiping the shit blood all over yr blue      █
          █  suede shoes. Intelligence combines the best of all     █
          █  worlds in an eight-track wonderland of sonic           █
          █  horizons, poppy dance field rock and if ya have time   █
          █  to think - brilliant lyrics. Intelligence utilize      █
          █  melodic acoustic guitars with wire cutting electric    █
          █  riffs, crushed keyboards, jumping jack fun drums and   █
          █  sing along vocal melodies. The recording sounds like   █
          █  they crawl inside a beat up trashcan to bang out the   █
          █  hits while tumbling down a granite mountain covered    █
          █  in volcanic ash. Goddamn, I'm listening to             █
          █  Intelligence right now and the songs are so catchy     █
          █  it's hard to write this shit cuz I just want to get    █
          █  up and give my computer a lap dance. "Boredom and      █
          █  Terror" was first released as CD on that rad label,    █
          █  Omnibus Records, and now Narnack's putting it out on   █
          █  Vinyl with something like 15 extra tracks. Each song   █
          █  is so fully satisfying and barely busts the            █
          █  two-minute mark...so fuck it. Ever since Intelligence  █
          █  plugged into the music circuit the kids have been      █
          █  terrorizing boredom with a wicked wiggle from the      █
          █  ass. Now that's a War on Terror I can get              █
          █  behind...oh, wouldn't bush be proud. So, get smart     █
          █  son. Do the Intelligence thing and get into that       █
          █  chicken grip groove.                                   █
