██       Liberace, the undisputed king of cash-flashing glitz and          :
██       phantasmal luxury, seems like an unlikely icon for a group        :
██       of New Orleans street ambassadors like Big Tymers. But            :
██       listening to these guys ramble on about diamonds, Cadillac        :
██       trucks, DVD decks, three-piece living room sets, iguanas,         :
██       chandeliers and other such high-class baubles on their third      :
██       album, I Got That Work, it becomes obvious that not only          :
██       have Mannie Fresh and Bryan "Baby" Williams come a long way       :
██       from their rugged beginnings, they have it so good now that       :
██       they can confidently proclaim, "Liberace ain't got nothing        :
██       on me!"                                                           :

██       It's understandable. Fresh is the Cash Money label's              :
██       in-house producer, responsible for the quadruple-platinum         :
██       sound of Juvenile's 400 Degreez, and Williams is the              :
██       company's co-CEO. But the duo aren't resting on their now         :
██       filthy rich laurels. Beyond the materialistic full-frontal        :
██       assault, I Got That Work offers some of the most innovative       :
██       and surrealistic compositions in contemporary hip-hop.            :

██       Their palette is bold, unconventional, and eye-poppingly          :
██       brilliant, touching on everything from classical swathes to       :
██       techno breaks to low-balling funk beats. Lil' Wayne drops in      :
██       with a scintillating freestyle rap on the swirling soul           :
██       grooves of "Sunday Night." The Hot Boys give it up for            :
██       freaky chicks and luxury cars on the chunky lo-fi                 :
██       electro-pop of "We Ain't Stoppin," and "Pimp On" pays             :
██       tribute to thug life with minimalist beats and warm flamenco      :
██       guitar flourishes. Even in his prime, Liberace could not          :
██       fathom such garish and unequivocally ingenious stylistic          :
