16Bit's 'Chainsaw Caligraphy' is an improbable masterpiece of avant-dubstep
tendencies, showing wild possibilites for the Dubstep rave. Here we have some
firing revisions from Jakes, PropaTingz and Kanji Kinetic backed with the lethal
original mix. In the hands of Jakes the concrΘte brutality of the chainsaw
becomes a truly f*cking scary experience, slashing away at the maximised riddim
like a man possessed, but PropaTingz's 'Crunk Massacre Remix' relegates the
sound in favour of metallic stabs and more typical dubstep sounds. Kanji Kinetic
however, puts the sounds to great use over stomping Bassline 4/4s and finally
the original mix cuts loose like nowt you've ever heard before. Steamin!
