shortly after the critical acclaimed release of amazing 'spinning
wheel of jazz'-compilation in may '99 the boys marcus hacker and
reinhard wimmer went out on a record-hunt again for this second
part. with peter joppich - a maniac collector with a sensible nose
for especially rare vinyl trophies - by their side again, they
came back with this rich prey of delicious european jazz from the
60s to the 80s. since the spinning wheel dj-team is well known for
accepting no boun-daries, throwing everthing in the mix from
modern jazz of the 60s to the nujazz sound of today, the selection
on 'spinning wheel of jazz 2' won't satisfy the jazz purists but
the dancefloor enthusiasts hungry for some funked up, latin
     inspired, highly individual fusion pieces.
     enjoy it.
