ôMusica da Ripostiglioö (Closet Music) is the new album of the jazz quartet led
by singer-songwriter Luca Pirozzi.
The retroÆ atmospheres suggested by their tracks draw inspiration from the first
years of the twentieth century swing, and is enriched by gypsy and French
influences. They meet Greek sirtaki, tango echoes, waltzes and boleros. The
lyrics are absolutely original, ironic and at times irreverent, and win the
public, often involved during concerts in the gags proposed by musicians.
The group has given several concerts in many important festivals in Italy and
abroad, and represented Italy in some international events, such as the World
Youth Day 2000 in Rome and the Tuareg Festival in Africa (Mali).
