█ my locomotive is an original modern rock band from the █
█ northern NJ area █
█ [Parsippany/Lk. Hiawatha/Montville]. █
█ █
█ Combining hard, crunchy guitar riffs, atmospheric melodies, █
█ tight and hard driving rhythm sections with passionate █
█ vocals, the 5 members create a new rock sound that doesnÆt █
█ leave anyone without nodding their head along in pure █
█ enjoyment. The Aquarian described this sound as "...moody, █
█ introspective, alterna-grunge...". █

█ Marco Woodward [drums] and J Tyburczy [bass] are former █
█ members of Hijinx who formed my locomotive in 2001 with the █
█ addition of Matt Huppert [guitar], Lawrence Laudadio █
█ [vocals], and a year later joining the band on second █
█ guitar, Steve Babula. The creative force has always been a █
█ drive to play original rock music with wide influences of █
█ classic rock, funk, hardcore, indie-rock, punk, and new rock █
█ leading to the birth of my locomotiveÆs strong repertoire of █
█ infectious original sounds with an overall modern-rock feel. █

█ my locomotive has performed numerous shows in the northern █
█ NJ and NYC areas over the past 3 years while continuing to █
█ write and record new material collectively progressing to a █
█ unique and consistent sound. █

█ The band has released their third EP [self-titled] featuring █
█ the tracks: Lens, Friendly Fire, Better Days, & Alright. █
█ █
█ my locomotive has been featured on 105.5 WDHA's "Homegrown █
█ Spotlight" as well as having their previous EP [about phase █
█ 4 stereo] reviewed by The Aquarian. These songs along with █

█ where the signature track Arrive was ranked #97 out of █
█ thousands of national entries. █
