dub, right, no theme, always good. feelin' irie, man. unitone hifi
could most often appear as neat music in the dub field, while they
sure should be credited for dub to finally getting away from the
boring ambient-dogma in the 2nd half of the 90s', that seemed to
stick to every non direct jamaican producer. today the younger
don't need to hear from everybody that their music sounds too
electronic, or has no roots to it. such criticisms always fall
ununderstood these days, it's been long since the fathers of dub
were smoking their spliffs in their bush huts, in which the third
wall were the speakers, they are now in fat record studios instead
- their music naturally still remaining closer to the 'real thing'
than that of for example unitone hi-fi.
