Finnish dubtep heat from Desto, following his ace Ramp release with a versatile
EP for Noppa. First up 'Gremlinz' neatly approximates the grimy crunked
synthline style of Terror Danjah or Joker, before 'Grey Matter' switches to a
techy swinging steppers sound reminding of 2562 or Indigo. Best of all however,
has to be 'Cold VIP' juxtaposing tropical garage percussion against a backdrop
of melancholy chord progressions and dub-tech atmospheres, kinda like SYNKRO or
Sully for a chillier climate.
