Excellent steppers material from sometime Lo Dubs crew member and all round
Toronto based dubstep warrior, XI with two fine productions for Off Road
Recordings. The production levels on this release are very high, with A-side '
Smoke Signal' benefitting from some extra crispy drumwork and solid sub drops
that will cut it next to any of the big players, and the wicked 'Strategy' on
the flip bearing some resemblance to Martyn, with bluesy sax licks locked onto
post-UKG beats and luxuriantly textured pads. This release has rightfully found
support across the dubstep board and can be found in the boxes of Headhunter,
RSD, Ramadanman, Tayo, Komanazmuk and lots more.
