Microstructural Characterization, I learned, is a term borrowed to
semi-conductors jargon. Recycling of geek esperanto and straight no
chaser black on white urban sleeve would have you expect minimal
techno of the strictest obedience when in fact this DFA release is
more in the vein of the Abstract Fusion series incorparating warmer
organic sounds -piano on Cause of Suffering- to the otherwise
Spartan producing discipline. The moving synthetic explosion of 3/5
Human alone sent us shivering in a dreamy landscape and makes this
EP well worth checking.
