Release Notes:
Major stars in their native Denmark, The Sound Of Hush, vocalist Dorthe
Gerlach and guitarist Michael Hartmann, had a big radio hit in 2001
with the song 'If I Was' featured in the soundtrack for the popular
film 'Mona's World'. Universal signed the band, and in 2004 their debut
album, 'A Lifetime' was released, nominated for five Danish Music
Awards and the duo toured Canada, UK, and Europe. The Sound of Hush
sophomore album 'For All The Right Reasons' spawned another massive hit
with the title track, which was in the top three of the most played
tracks on Danish radio in 2007. The Sound of Hush then released their
third album 'Backroads', their strongest set of songs to-date.
The Sound of Hush now release a compilation for the UK market of a
collection of songs from their first three albums, simply entitled 'The
Sound of Hush'. The twelve tracks will take the listener across their
career, which has produced some memorable pop-rock songs. The first
single is 'For All The Right Reasons'.
