PHANTOGRAM is a Psych-Rock, Electronic, Hip-Hop Influenced duo from Upstate,
NY consisting of Joshua Carter and Sarah Barthel. Their music can be
described as a culmination of unique street beat rhythms, and psychedelic
melodies, with combined technology and organic textures.
Although signed to Barsuk Records in 2009, they released a self titled EP on
their own CE Records in the USA on March 2009 featuring 5 songs including
"Mouthful of Diamonds" which has received much radio play and is considered
their "MySpace single". Four out of the five tracks from the EP made it onto
the full-length in various forms, but "Voices" did not.
