Bristol pressure from Hyetal backed with a stunningly trippy Peverelist remix.
The original version follows the neon trail blazed by Joker, Gemmy and Co with
bright melodic functions attached to a crafty dubstep rhythm, but the reason you
need this 12" is all on the other side. Peverelist's remix is easily his most
unhinged to date, attacking the rhythm with a fractal febrility we've not heard
from him before, fraying the rhythms into some sort of flexing garage organism
shedding snares and insectoid hi-hats like some techno caterpillar wriggling out
of a 2-step wormhole. The closest comparison may be the work of Berlin's Shed,
but the unpredictable flow and psyched experience is all Peverelist's and
further proves why he's way ahead of the pack with this kind of reconfigured
rollidge. Awesome.
