Intriguing dubstep package from DLX for Steps In Time recordings with two skewed
dubstep styles sitting way outside the box. 'The City' could be a Frank Timm
production if he came from South London, as it merges the unlikely styles of
razor sharp funk edits with a heavyweight dubstep rhythm in shocking fashion,
while 'Acid Rain Dance' on the other side locks rolling breakage with inverted
gabber kicks into an evil 4/4 steppers pattern. A refreshing and unique take on
hardcore dubstep that's definitely worth a look in.
