Reppin' for the West Coast dubstep crew, Steps In Time Recordings deliver
another tuff plate of mutated rave styles for the nastier dances. The releases
on this label have a habit of turning out one standard track, backed with one
total killer and this one isn't any different. With that in mind we'd recommend
cutting straight to the immense junglist wallop of 6Blocc's remix of Matt
Green's 'Shadow', justifying his position as one of the finest producers working
within the parameters of breakstepping junglist dubstep. Just flipping from side
to side the difference in production levels in incomparable, with 6Blocc laying
into a truly fierce amen rinseout at 140bpm controlled with sick edits and a
dirty swinging bassline that'll knock drinks off tables in the club. If tuff
junglist dubstep is your bag we couldn't recommend this one highly enough.
