Who is I.F.M. ?I.F.M. is Marcello Napoletano & Francesco Schito Aka
Fran - Mela . The duo came together in 2007 after the loss of their
close friend , Dj Ilario Corsano .Marcello Napoletano took the house
fraternity by storm with his excellent 'A Prescription Of Love Ep'
released early 2009 on Jamal Moss's Mathematics imprint outta Chicago
.With this partnership , Marcello and Francesco deliver a stunning
and well crafted ep . Already receiving props from dj's such as Levon
Vincent , Lerosa , Ksoul , Dj Qu , Jus Ed , Dj Deep , Jamal Moss ,
Keith Worthy , Tama Sumo + Many More . Their sound references all the
legendary producers of deep house from New Jersey to Chicago but
proudly stands alone with an innately personal touch in the perfected
arrangements and cheery picked samples. With a head nod to
Prescription label's Chez Damier, Ron Trent or Kerri Chandler but
it's easy to hear traces of Lil Louis, Armando, Cajual or many
others. With the track opener , 'Miles' , I.F.M. truly come into
their own , with a very fresh an unique sound palette whilst still
referencing the rich tapestry of Chicago house . '11 September' sees
them in reflective mode , paying homage and respect to those who were
personally affected by the 11 september events of 2001 , as they were
.The 2nd side of the ep sees the guys stepping up the pressure on the
excellent 'Tom'. Melding so many influences into one with such
refinement .The closing track on the ep - 'Raw Vibes' does exactly
what it says on the tin . A raw work out with it's avant-house
arrangements guaranteed to jack your body proper !!!!! 'Back in the
