New long player on Ben Edwards' Expanding imprint. Cathodes' second release
arrives five years after his shimmering debut Special Measures, its certainly
worth the wait... Sparkle Plenty is a work steeped in digital melancholy, the
flickering glitchtronica happening deep within the circuit boards. Against this
are some magical melody motifs that sometime build to electric highs.
