ItÆs now three years since her debut solo album, æBeloved OneÆ was nominated for
a Mercury Music Prize, but the hippy-trippy Lamb singer finally unveils new work
with the release of third-solo album, æOne Good ThingÆ on March 14th. The record
is said to chart the last two years of LouÆs life, from the painful loss of her
sister in May 2007 (which prompted her to cancel her UK tour) and through her
subsequent personalrenewal.
New single, æThere For The TakingÆ precedes the album and features a haunting,
Nico-esque Lou wrapping her beautiful tonsils and around a tearful,
cello-busting lament.
Rhodes will be releasing the album through the Cinematic OrchestraÆs new label,
Motion Audio.
