      █░█▒      Their name doesn't necessarily reflect their sound   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      but Ultra Mega's urgent and powerful rhythm section  ▒█░█
      █░█▒      charges headfirst through OrmondÆs inimitable        ▒█░█
      █░█▒      guitar melodies. Constantly searching for the right  ▒█░█
      █░█▒      sound they can be both blindingly loud and quietly   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      unassuming. The constant thread being a close focus  ▒█░█
      █░█▒      on thoughtfully written insightful lyrics that are   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      pure Winnipeg and hard to forget. Their seminal      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      debut album melds memorable original music with the  ▒█░█
      █░█▒      classic lyrics of Wu Tang and Notorious B.I.G. to    ▒█░█
      █░█▒      create an imaginative cross genre listen. Recorded   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      in single take live sets at Mid Ocean Sound the      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      album titled "Black Wu Jackets" is raw and           ▒█░█
      █░█▒      refreshingly lightly produced. <> Ultra Mega has     ▒█░█
      █░█▒      been putting up their own unique indie rock since    ▒█░█
      █░█▒      sometime in early 2006. Originally a two piece;      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      guitar (JD Ormond) and drums (Ben Jones) played      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      small venues using one basement in the West End of   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      Winnipeg as their launching ground. After            ▒█░█
      █░█▒      struggling with a few third members they finally     ▒█░█
      █░█▒      met their missing link in the form of Morden         ▒█░█
      █░█▒      Manitoba ex-pat, Conrad Petkau (bass). <> <> Ultra   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      Mega's sophomore album was recently recorded in      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      Toronto with the help of Canadian guitar phenom      ▒█░█
      █░█▒      Luke Doucet is currently in its final stages and     ▒█░█
      █░█▒      set to be released sometime in the Spring of 2010.   ▒█░█
      █░█▒      A Canadian tour is being planned to start shortly    ▒█░█
