█░█▒ This is a band that spent a lot of time and energy ▒█░█
█░█▒ finding the right crew ( and in the process learned ▒█░█
█░█▒ that it is harder to have a band than to have a ▒█░█
█░█▒ lover). Nobody really knows if anybody is an ▒█░█
█░█▒ original member from the days of Sweatbus, the band ▒█░█
█░█▒ from which The All Janet originated from Sweatbus ▒█░█
█░█▒ fell apart due to "musical differences" a few days ▒█░█
█░█▒ before an important band contest. ▒█░█
█░█▒ ▒█░█
█░█▒ Today The All Janet are Simon Malmen on vocals and ▒█░█
█░█▒ guitar, Fredrik Normark on drums, Anders Petterson ▒█░█
█░█▒ on guitar and Michael Johansson on bass. ▒█░█
█░█▒ ▒█░█
█░█▒ The All Janet released their first EP, "Second" in ▒█░█
█░█▒ 1996 and later that year they were signed to ▒█░█
█░█▒ SPEECH, a division of A West Side Sweden. ▒█░█
█░█▒ ▒█░█
█░█▒ Quickly after they released a single "On the Run" ▒█░█
█░█▒ for which a video also was made. ▒█░█
█░█▒ ▒█░█
█░█▒ By then The All Janet were rock gods on the vibrant ▒█░█
█░█▒ local scene, and their full-length album, "Grace" ▒█░█
█░█▒ was greatly anticipated when it was released in ▒█░█
█░█▒ 1997. ▒█░█
█░█▒ ▒█░█
█░█▒ The audience as well as the critics were taken by ▒█░█
█░█▒ the album, which proved The All Janet to be ▒█░█
█░█▒ terrific pop song composers and Simon Malmen to be ▒█░█
█░█▒ one of the most personal and gifted singers Sweden ▒█░█
█░█▒ has heard in years. ▒█░█
█░█▒ ▒█░█
█░█▒ Despite the success of "Grace", the band lost more ▒█░█
█░█▒ band members. Simon had no choice but to complete ▒█░█
█░█▒ the band with his own guitar. ▒█░█
█░█▒ ▒█░█
█░█▒ With all the changes of members the sound has also ▒█░█
█░█▒ changed. The earliest obvious influences came ▒█░█
█░█▒ rolling in from Seattle, but The All Janet of 1999 ▒█░█
█░█▒ is a much more mature band which in their use of ▒█░█
█░█▒ slide guitar and harmonica admits country ▒█░█
█░█▒ influences (but don't expect any of the members to ▒█░█
