████ It's really funny that the scene is always so ████
████ slowly in adapting "new" stuff. The currently ████
████ RECOMMENDED version by the developers of the ████
████ lame codec is 3.98.2. It's non beta, released ████
████ almost 1.5 years ago!!! ████
████ ████

████ ████
████ Why on earth do people develop software? To ████
████ make it worse? Yes, there are quite a few ████
████ excamples where this happened, but not with ████
████ lame. ████
████ The last two non beta versions of lame should ████
████ always be allowed for Radio and CD releases. ████
████ WEB stuff can even be encoded with FHG - which ████
████ is a stoneage codec - and it's allowed. LOL ████
