|::| Oblio's smooth sound and spacious pads fit |::|
|::| perfect in to the "so called" balearic vibe. if |::|
|::| you're not in a rush and have a moment to listen |::|
|::| you will enjoy the typical Oblio melodies and |::|
|::| chord progressions. like all Oblio songs there |::|
|::| is lot's of synth and arpeggios and no samples. |::|
|::| |::|
|::| Having wowed us with their "The Crux Of The |::|
|::| Matter" EP out on Codek earlier in 2008, Oblio |::|
|::| return with another trio of deep electronic |::|
|::| tracks that squeeze in under the big Balearic |::|
|::| umbrella. Featuring smooth synth sounds and |::|
|::| spacious pads these tracks are as lush as they |::|
|::| come. "Epicuranism" is the most upbeat (that's |::|
|::| the Balearic version of upbeat though, so not |::|
|::| very fast at all), with nicely reverbed keys |::|
|::| flitting about. "Principle Of Discovery" |::|
|::| continues the theme, but in a slightly more |::|
|::| stripped-down way. Saving the best 'til last we |::|
|::| have "Faculty Of Reincarnation" |::|
|::| |. |
