"Shanti Jatra" is a tribute to our dearest
friend, Rodney Alphonse Mathias, the key
planner and initiator of Shanti Jatra Full
Moon Festival, which took place in Nepal with
great success in 2007 and 2008. The festival
was one of the biggest gatherings in Asia of
its kind and received tremendous accolades
and support worldwide. It was to be at its
biggest and the best at the 2009 edition but
the untimely demise of Rodney just a month
before the festival, meant that it was to be
discontinued. His lovely spirit will remain
forever among our hearts and minds as he
rests in another realm. He will always be
remembered for his accomplishment, visions
and for the wonderful spirit.
This CD contains 10 special tracks
specifically handpicked by Access Gremlin aka
Gidra from artists who had performed at
previous editions and some wonderful new
talent. We hope you feel the magic of this
wonderful gathering, which is now no more,
through the music.
