Get familiar with the sound of contemporary Scandinavia. On
volume 2 in the critically acclaimed Nordic Lounge series
we dig deeper in to the Scandinavian flora of musical
creativity. This time we serve you exclusive and previously
unreleased tracks by artists such as Hird, Gonky Business
and Ernestos as well as classic tunes from well-known Koop,
Nuspirit Helsinki and Bugge Wesseltoft. Also we give you
the unique possibility to make acquaintance with the brand
new acts Similou and Cloud.
The creative Mecca in Scandinavia right now is Gothenburg
on the Swedish west coast, this is reflected on the choice
of music for this compilation. Stateless, Hird and Plej are
some of the artists who have put ôGonkyburgö on the map.
Now they get comapany from Cloud with his album debut, the
playfull and hypnotic track Thinking of you. Nordic Lounge
volume 1 opened up with Hird and the now classic track Keep
you Hird. This time he wraps it all up with the final track
on the album, Getting Closer. A soulfull experience
expanding the sound and leading the way to new, yet
indefinable sounds.
The Nordic Lounge club nights have been a big success.
Japan and Scandinavia have already experienced Hird and the
DNM crew deejaying. This time around we expand the concept
with Hird feat.Yukimi Nagano in a live session as well as
Stateless and Ernestos touring worldwide.

platform for contemporary Scandinavian music. Our mission
is to guide individuals worldwide to the quality
Scandinavian sounds and to make hard-to-get music available
for others than dj┤s and vinyl collectors. The focus for
our releases are therefore on cd and especially
compilations presenting the best in various genres for the
purpose of giving people easy access to the music. We also
work with a few selected artists such as Hird and Similou
whose ideas and personality we feel extra strongly for.
