Release Notes:
Sbtrkt is the elusive London based producer making some of the freshest
beats around.
Not one to explain his own sound, (or show his face) it has been said
that SbtrktÆs beats range from a mellow down-tempo Detroit techno vibe
to a busier intergalactic beat vibe. With various upcoming releases
including several 12?s forthcoming on Planet-Mu, a collaboration with
vocalist/producer Sampha for Ramp Recordings, a release with XL/Young
Turks with the tracks æSoundboy ShiftÆ and æRundownÆ alongside a 12?
out in September on Salvia and ZombyÆs Brainmath record label,
featuring the tracks æHarmonicsÆ/'LaikaÆ.
When heÆs not in the studio working on his own material or remixes for
the likes of Peaches, Franz Ferdinand, Jack Penate and an edit of
GoldieÆs æInner City LifeÆ you can catch Sbtrkt DJ-ing across the
country.
