│ "Dopplereffekt are one of the strangest and most mysterious units of │
│ the contemporary electronic music scene. There are no interviews and │
│ hardly any live appearances. Nobody really knows who they are, their │
│ releases have so far only been available on limited vinyl on │
│ Dataphysix/Detroit. The composers hide behind strange German │
│ pseudonyms whereas the song titles and lyrics are in English and make │
│ up a strange mixture of scientific, sexually explicit and political │
│ allusions. Dopplereffekt's music is also highly eclectic and unusual. │
│ Even if at first sight the forefathers Kraftwerk seem to be more than │
│ present Dopplereffekt have developed their very own and highly │
│ influential sound aesthetic, without which the current electro hype │
│ seems to be unthinkable. Dopplereffekt have also taken an unusual │
│ path with their stylish anti-style in cover artwork, which have │
│ always been surprisingly and provocatively plain. DJ Hell managed to │
│ make contact with the Dopplereffekt headquarters in Detroit and made │
│ it possible for his International Deejay Gigolo Records to release │
│ the collected works of Dopplereffekt on double 12" + 7" as well as │
│ for the first time on CD under the title Gesamtkunstwerk. Style: │
│ Absolutely legendary Kraftwerk style electro from Detroit. This is │
│ the basis of the current electro hype." │

│ There have been many changes in the mp3 scene lately, many small new │
│ groups entered the scene and spread their releases. │
│ Besides this UBE has grown bigger and better and is now a strong force │
│ in the scene. We are into metal/industrial/crossover and some other │
│ styles like hip-hop and gothic. So be prepared for more quality │
│ releases, all encoded in 160 kbps, properly named and tagged and com- │
│ plete with cover scans and all that stuff, if possible. │
│ │
│ As any other group, we are still looking for good talented rippers and │
│ suppliers, who can supply us with new releases or any other things that │
│ could be interesting for us (e.g. hardware, shells, webspace, domain). │
