Preceding his more recent drops on Frijsfo and L2S, Sclist provides the early
'Darkroom EP' for Bristol's Urban Scrumping label backed with remixes from
Phaeleh and Gyu. The sparse title track combines sci-fi style synthlines with
efficient garage breaks and 'Kigelia' adds tidy flourishes of fusion riffage to
percussive rollers rhythms reminding of early dubstep from Hatcha or Geeneus.
Phaeleh continues to reshape 'Darkroom' as a smoothly dubbed halfstep number and
Gyu adds hovering subs and florid melodies to 'Kigelia'.
