░ The Rough Guide Series is an excellent ░
░ guide to discovering new world music. ░
░ I've never been to Louisiana, but have ░
░ always dreamed of going there! This cd is ░
░ one of the reasons why. Look at the rich ░
░ music heritage that comes from this ░
░ state. It is the birthplace of Cajun, ░
░ Zydeco, Blue, Jazz, Gospel, and R&B. This ░
░ cd includes all of these genres of music. ░
░ This is not just music of New Orleans, ░
░ but other cities in the state. Americans ░
░ out there, this is a great introduction ░
░ to what comes from this country!! This cd ░
░ includes the very famous songs, "Iko Iko" ░
░ and "You Are My Sunshine." The famous ░
░ Buckwheat Zydeco and Dr. John are ░
░ featured as well as many names that may ░
░ be new to you. Learn a little about the ░
