Debut Warp LP for Manchester's LoneLady. Plugged into the sounds of The North
circa 78-84; Factory Records, Cabaret Voltaire, Human League, Gang Of Four,
Nerve Up is a wonderfully lo-fi homage to all these inspirations and much more.
Drum machines crunch and thump, keyboard melodies wash, guitars scrape and Julie
Campell's honest affecting vocal sets the dramatic scene perfectly.
